Dear Families of Perry Hall Middle School,

Why join our PTSA?...To benefit your child. In doing so, you’ll also help Perry Hall Middle School. More than 30 years of research has proven that children do better when their parents are involved both at home and at school. Grades are higher. Test scores rise. Self-esteem grows. Schools improve.

There’s a simple way to make these outcomes a reality for your child: Join PHMS PTSA.

Today more than ever, schools are challenged to provide every child with the best education despite growing limitations. Budgets are tight—in most cases, shrinking—while government requirements are growing. Schools are challenged to do more with less.

Over the years, our school has invited parents, teachers, students, staff, grandparents, aunts, uncles and business to be a part of the largest advocacy organization in the country, the PTA/PTSA. Now is your chance to join our dynamic association. Be a part of Perry Hall Middle School's PTSA Regatta!

This year, with your support, we would like to sponsor many fun and worthwhile programs for the benefit of children, adults and staff.  Those programs include:

These are the programs that help make Perry Hall Middle School a positive experience for everyone.  Please join the PTSA for the 2011-2012 school year, and help us reach our goal of 1500 members.

Membership dues are $10 per member. 

Please fill out the bottom portion of this letter and return it to school with your dues in an envelope marked “membership”. Please make checks payable to “PHMS PTSA.” Please be sure to include the homeroom teacher's name and your student's name, even if he or she is not joining.
