Treasurer ~~ John Wisniewski ~~ Balance as of 10/11/05 $10,742.40

President ~~ Deb Kozlowski ~~ Committee Mail, Calendars, and other information passed around for viewing. December meeting will be December 1, 2005 Terri Bibeault selected to make reservations and decision on where to have meeting. Thanked Teri Sierakowski for volunteering for the Hospitality Committee.

Hospitality ~~ Teri Sierakowski ~~ Need snack donations for American Education Week. Discussion regarding Babysitters during the week. Determined too much liability.

The following committees are open: Nominating (only active during February and March) 6^th Grade Liaison, and Beautification. Deb provided information regarding Membership and Spirit Wear in the Committee member absence. Membership to date is 1100 which includes 49 faculty, Spirit Wear 172 orders @ $1500.00 taken in (not a fundraiser).

Principal ~~ Mr. Zink ~~ American Education Week ~~ visitation will be 6^th Grade on Monday, 7^th Grade on Tuesday, 8^th Grade on Wednesday, 5^th Grade and Grandparent Visitation on Thursday. Homemade Hugs 220 Blankets along with books and household goods were sent to help victims of the Hurricane. $1200.00 was collected and sent mostly to the Red Cross and some to Noahs Wish. Discussion regarding re- implementing the School Improvement Team. Will be making a plea to have parents join team in upcoming issue of Paw Prints.

Faculty Reports ~~ Ms. Nelson ~~ Working with online computerized testing. 7^th Grade zoo trip October 20^th, American Education week invitations will be distributed.

Officer Gephardt ~~ Discussion regarding traffic and safety. Worked with Traffic Engineering to improve safety. New signs will be installed and enforced.

7^th Grade Liaison ~~ Brandon Hurn ~~ During the upcoming year Red Wolves ~ Language Arts reading Out of The Dust, Seed Folks, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. GT classes will be reading Watership Down, Animal Farm, The Taming of the Shrew and Waiting for the Rain. World Cultures first adventure will be in Africa. Science the learning will revolve around diversity of life, human systems, waves, light, sound and more.

8^th Grade Liaison ~~ Amber Sexton ~~ Thanked PTSA for Bingo night had a great time. Language Arts ~~ reading Witch of Blackbird Pond and in American Past learning about the Colonist from Jamestown.

Short discussion regarding Homework Hotline Issues.

Motion ~~ The PTSA to spend $275.40 to fund the purchase of  "Choices" for the family studies department.
