Motion: To Preserve $3300.00 Scholarship Budget. (Teri Bibeault) Passed

Motion: To reauthorize Bryan Palmer Memorial Award for $300.00 and six  $500.00 academic scholarships for the 2005-2006 school year at PHMS. (Terry Koogle) Passed

Motion: To approve Proposed 2005-2006 budget as presented by Treasurer John Wisniewski (attached). Net uses of funds of  $2,975.00 in a collapsed format for final approval at the PTSA General Membership Meeting at Back to School Nights in September 2005. (Terri Smith) Passed

Motion: To approve money counters. (Passed)

President ~ Deb Kozlowski ~~~ Reminder to get receipts for all requests. Procedure books on table. Bylaws have been approved but not returned. Committee mail and new Homework book passed around for viewing. Plan of work must be filled out before any funds can be requested. Meeting dates passed out. Discussion about the meeting dates. Money counters need to be approved.  Schedules being put together for mailing on Monday, volunteers needed. Open Committees Nominating, Business Liaison Contact, Beautification Chairman. There is a new logo for Spirit wear ~ will be selling T-shirts and Sweatpants. Orders taken during 6^th grade orientation, as well as on both back to school nights.

Principal ~ Al Zink ~ Introduced himself and gave information on his background and history with school system. 17 new teachers in PHMS still 2 vacancies ~ Art and Spanish. (Art teacher Ms. Causey retired). Mr. Barish new Assistant Principal. Science rooms being renovated. 50 new computers received. Goal to make a Great School even Greater. 6^th graders will have a 5 min early dismissal all year.

Newsletter ~ Barb Hurn ~ Passed out letter introducing herself as the editor. Letter indicated information needed for submitting articles, ideas for articles and submission deadline and distribution dates.
